I made this blackcurrant ice cream which turned out an extremely delicious frozen treat with distinct natural colour and the bold and tangy taste of blackcurrants.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Egg yolks &#8211; 4<\/li>\n<li>Blackcurrants (fresh or frozen) &#8211; 150 g<\/li>\n<li>Sugar &#8211; 160 g<\/li>\n<li>Double cream &#8211; 500 ml<\/li>\n<li>Milk &#8211; 150 ml<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method is explained and illustrated below. Be very careful to NOT let it boil.
